Instructions
1. Rinse and drain chickpeas in a colander. Add chickpeas to a food processor along with red onion, parsley, cilantro, salt, cayenne, garlic, and cumin. Process mix until it forms a chalky paste. A little texture is desirable. You may need to scrape the sides of the bowl to be sure of an even texture. 2. Place mixture in a bowl and stir in baking powder. Began adding flour 2 tsp at a time until the mixture can make patties. Refrigerate mixture for at least an hour to allow flavors to blend. 3. Using a small measuring spoon form the falafel mixture into small patties. 4. To cook patties, heat oil in a skillet until very hot and shimmery but not smoking. Cook patties on each side until deep golden brown and crispy.

The journalism small group is so productive, and it actually feels like you are doing something. You have so many opportunities to collaborate with people you probably would not have met otherwise. I have made so many friends in this small group, and club meetings are always entertaining.
